Rebrand Case Study

Imperial Homes

Brief

Imperial Homes has long been a fixture of the Western Australian building landscape. The challenge was to modernise their visual identity without losing the trust built over 35 years as a family owned business. In designing the new brand identity, the challenge lay in honouring their established legacy while embracing a forward-thinking aesthetic. We undertook a comprehensive brand transformation, reimagining their original logo into a contemporary design that balances sophistication with structural strength.

Brand Evolution

The reimagined brand identity centers on "Architectural Elegance." We moved away from the more literal interpretations of the original logo to a design that prioritises symmetry, structure, and minimalism - qualities inherent in their custom-designed homes.

  • Logo Redesign: We reimagined the original logo into a contemporary monogram. By using geometric symmetry, the new mark serves as a subtle nod to structural foundations and floor plans while maintaining a sense of timeless elegance.
  • Visual Identity: We shifted the colour palette to a sophisticated mix of slate, charcoal, and muted metallics. This aligns with the luxury aesthetic found in their "Showcase" projects and appeals to a more discerning Perth clientele.

  • Typography: We selected a refined serif for the primary wordmark to convey authority and stability, paired with a modern sans serif for digital clarity.

Website Development

The Imperial Homes website redesign transforms a traditional portal into a sophisticated digital showroom. By prioritising high resolution photography and a minimalist interface, the new site reflects Western Australian craftsmanship. This mobile first experience seamlessly guides clients from design inspiration to private consultation.
